About Me
I have over 17 years experience of both office administration and IT. I have been designing and developing websites since 1997. Over the past couple of years I have worked as a Director's PA and have been involved in all aspects of the smooth running of a busy office. I have done everything from opening post to designing websites to arranging travel to book keeping to research - you name it, I've probably done it! I have quite a few qualifications tucked under my belt - 11 GCSEs, RSA Diploma, BTEC Business & Finance and an HNC in Business Information Technology (plus other's I've collected over the years). My typing speed is approximately 50wpm. I have excellent organisation skills plus my IT and computer skills probably excede most administrators & secretaries. When I am not working for your business I have a variety of interests. I am a keen cook and love to spend time in the kitchen. I love books - both reading and writing! I also have an interest in complimentary therapies and I've gained qualifications in Reiki, nutrition, EFT and hypnosis. I started Rosmerta Virtual Office Services with my partner and husband, Paul in 2007. He brings extra support for proof reading, copy writing, website design and various other admin functions. Why Rosmerta?Probabaly most people have heard the name Rosmerta from Harry Potter. Madame Rosmerta is the landlady of the Three Broomsticks Pub. However, Rosmerta is an ancient Celtic goddess whose original name has been lost in the sands of time. Rosmerta is the name given to her by the Romans who saw her as an escort to Mercury. She is the goddess of fire, warmth and abundance. I want my business to bring in abundance for me which means working with you towards your goal of greater wealth. Abundance all round!
